Delete your Monneko account

In the app

1. Open Monneko and go to Me.
2. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
3. Type DELETE and tap Delete my account.

Your account is deleted at once and you are signed out on every device.

Without the app

Email [email protected] with the subject “Delete my account”, from the email address you sign in with. If you signed in with Apple or Google, use the email address of that account. We may ask you to confirm it is you, then delete the account within 7 days and email you when it is done.

What is deleted

• Your account, profile and sign-in methods.
• All your expenses, budgets, repeating expenses and saving goals.
• All your reminders and their history.
• All your trips, flights, hotels and places.
• Your chats with Monny and your WhatsApp link.

It can’t be undone. Signing in again later starts a new, empty account. If you signed in with Apple, we also end Monneko’s link to your Apple account.

What is kept

• Account event records (for example “an expense was deleted on this date”), with everything that links them to you removed. They are deleted after one year.
• Encrypted database backups that still hold your data expire within 7 days.
